Jackie Sawyers

63, of Camden, went Home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 17, 2023.

She was born July 28, 1960, in Richmond, Indiana, to Paul C. and Jerrelyn C. (Prifogle) Sawyers.

Jackie was preceded in death by her dad.

She is survived by her mom, Jerrelyn; sisters, Natalie (Kenny) Brock and Shellie (Kevin) Cheek; nephews, Jeremy Brock and Paul Huffman; niece, Heather Fleming; great nieces and nephews; and many more family and friends.

Jackie was a passionate artist whose love for art and drawing knew no bounds. With a pencil in one hand and a sketch book in the other, she would pour her heart and soul into her creations, capturing the beauty of the world and infusing her unique perspective into each piece. Her art will forever be a testament to her vibrant spirit and creative brilliance.

In addition to her artistic talents, Jackie was a dedicated member of Hope Church. She found great joy in working with the children's church, imparting her love for crafts and songs to the young hearts she nurtured. Through patient guidance and genuine enthusiasm, she helped countless children discover their own creative potential.

Jackie was also an integral part of the church choir, lending her melodious voice to the songs of praise and worship. Her singing resonated with a deep passion for spirituality, and her harmonies touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to listen. Her presence in the choir enriched the worship experience, filling the sanctuary with warmth and reverence.

Beyond her artistic and church commitments, Jackie was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Her kindness, empathy, and generosity knew no bounds, and she touched the lives of many with her caring and compassionate nature. She will be remembered for her laughter, her love, and her ability to brighten any room with her infectious smile.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Hope Church (formerly Higher Heights Church of God), 8111 US 127, Camden.  The funeral service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Junior Cummings officiating.  Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery, College Corner, Ohio.
