Gerald “Jerry” Leroy Kelley

Age 77 of Middletown, went Home to be with the Lord after a 7-month battle with Leukemia on Saturday, May 23, 2020.

He was born November 23, 1942 in Hamilton, to the late Willard and Helen (Haag) Kelley.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his sister, Norma Pettus, and brother, Donald Kelley.

He is survived by his loving wife of many years after marrying as teenagers, Joyce; son, Jerry Lee (Becky) Kelley of Middletown; daughter, Jill (Scott) Gannon of Camden; grandchildren, Jordan Kelley, Kyle (Lindsay) Lawson, and Colt Gannon; great grandchildren, Jenna, Hailey, Cash, Brooklyn, and John David; sister, Doris Saylor; brother; Steve (Amy) Kelley; and many more nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Jerry drove a truck for over 30 years and worked for 31-W Insulation for 17 years. In his free time, he loved wood working and could build anything. He also loved to fish, play card games, and spend time with the family. Jerry will be missed by many.

The family will receive friends on Thursday May 28, 2020 from 11AM to 1PM at Bales’ Funeral Home in Camden.  The funeral service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Dave Bowling officiating. Burial to follow at Fairmound Cemetery, West Elkton.
