Debbie Pierson

Age 64 of Eaton, OH passed away Friday, January 8, 2021. She was born in Middletown, OH on August 20, 1956 to Alfred and Martha (Hawkins) Pierson.

Debbie graduated Preble Shawnee in 1974 and a graduate of Miami University in 1977 where she earned her Master’s Degree. She had just retired from Tri County North in 2020 as a social studies teacher with over 30 years teaching. Debbie enjoyed traveling to many places, whether it was taking her special nieces and nephew to the zoo, movies or just venturing from mall to mall or traveling to D.C. or other historical places. She had such a big heart and would do anything for her family and was very involved in their lives.

She is survived by her sister, Kristine Pierson, and was a special aunt to nieces Jennifer Pierson and Jessica Pierson, nephew Kenny Craiger, Great niece and nephew Audrey and Landyn, sister-in-law, Jeanne Pierson and her loving fur companion, Pebbles.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Joseph LeRoy Pierson.

Services for Debbie will be as follows: A visitation from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at BALES FUNERAL HOME in Camden, with a funeral on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 9:30 AM with the burial to follow at Fairmound Cemetery in West Elkton.
