She enjoyed volunteering at the Camden Archives and felt strongly that the history of Camden be preserved for future generations. In addition, she enjoyed working the election polls and served as judge for Somers Township for many years.  Yolonda was a charter member of First Southern Baptist Church of Camden which was founded in 1951. Yolonda enjoyed gardening, canning and cooking. As much as she enjoyed all of these things, her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. You would find her on the sideline watching and cheering them on as they played in their various sports, in their 4-H careers and any activities they were involved in.
