74, of Camden, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 18, 2021.

Joyce was born in Jackson County, Kentucky on September 12th, 1946 to the late John Calvin Davis and Thelma Joyce Hillard.

Joyce was a patient and selfless woman, if you looked up the definition of a loving Christian her picture would be there. She taught Sunday school for over 50 years and was extremely talented seamstress. She enjoyed all the arts, especially sewing and painting. Through all her ailments she remained positive and optimistic and always maintained a strong faith. Joyce loved her family very much, and her favorite thing was being able to spend time with them during family gatherings.

Joyce leaves behind her loving husband of 53 years; James Calvin Nelson, their two children; Marsheda (Johnny) Jordan of Camden and David Nelson of Camden, two grandsons; Jacob (Hope) Jordan and Justin (Tasha) Jordan, her sisters; Lowana Wyatt of London, KY and Debbie (David) Wilder of Camden, OH, her brothers; Wayne (Sharon) Davis of Camden, OH, Wendell (Janice) Davis of Eaton, OH, and Tony (Cindy) Davis of Woodbridge, VA.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

There will be a visitation on Sunday, March 21st, 2021 from 4:00PM-6:00PM at Higher Heights Church of God in Camden, OH. There will be a Funeral on Monday, March 22nd, 2021 at 12:00PM at Higher Heights Church of God with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, OH.
