William “Bill” Gene Kiracofe
Age 57, of Camden, passed away Sunday January 7, 2018 after suffering from health issues.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Loyd B. and Mary C. Kiracofe; and uncles, James, Roy, Darrel, and Donald Kiracofe.
Bill is survived by his wife, Brenda; children, Devin of Kentucky, Samantha and Jakob of Muskegon, Michigan; mother, Janel; uncle, Gene; and many more family and friends.
He was an active member of FFA and graduated from Preble Shawnee High School, Class of 1978. Bill then went on to become the first handicapped person to attend and graduate from Hobart Welding School. Active life-long member of Independent Order of Odd Fellows and Somers Rebakah Lodge #125, and was a former member of Oxford Masonic Lodge #67. For 10 years, he was a 911 Dispatcher for the Preble County Sheriffs Office. Bill was active with his children’s marching band, Reeths-Puffer Marching Band, was a long-time deacon and very active with the Laketon Bethel Reformed Church in Muskegon, Michigan, and was an avid Ohio State University fan.
A visitation will be held Wednesday January 10 from 5PM to 8PM at the BALES’ FUNERAL HOME, Camden, with a Rebekah Lodge Service beginning at 7PM and Odd Fellows Service at 7:30PM. The funeral service will begin at 2PM on Thursday January 11 at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Shannon officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Camden.
Contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral arrangements.
