William “Bill” House
Died on Monday, August 4, 2025.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy, of 51 years; son, William “Chip”; granddaughters, Paige and Addyson; as well as his brothers, Frank and Donald; sisters, Marjorie and Ina; and special cousin, Jan Leibolt Falcey.
Born and raised on his family’s farm, Bill found his calling early in life. Following in the footsteps of his father, he dedicated himself to the care, breeding, and milking of Jersey cows. His knowledge of dairy farming was deep-rooted and instinctual, shaped by generations before him and refined through a lifetime of hands-on experience.
Bill took great pride in raising and showing Jersey cows, and his animals were not only award-winning but a source of joy and accomplishment. Whether walking the barns or preparing for a county fair, he poured heart and soul into every part of the work he loved. He believed in doing things the right way- with patience, care, and respect for the animals and the land.
Those who knew Bill will remember him not only for his strong work ethic but for his gentle spirit, humble nature, and quiet wisdom. He was always willing to lend a hand, share a story, or offer advice to the next generation of farmers.
The family is deeply grateful for the compassionate and loving care provided by Care 360 Hospice.
