William Henry Campbell

Bill was the son of Arthur Lee and Norma Campbell and was the oldest of four children: brothers, Lee and Fred, and sister, Eleanor.
He was born in Eaton, Ohio, and lived there all his life except for the time he spent in the service.
Bill married Phyllis Ashman December 24, 1942 and they had four children; Perry (and his wife Linda), Corky (and his wife Becky and daughter Chris Nichol), Jane (and her children Chad Lee, Erica Gordon and Travis Gordon), and Gail (and her children Megan Hofmann and Drew Johnson); and eight great grandchildren.
After graduating from Eaton High School, Bill enlisted in Army Air Corps that became the Army Air Force serving in WW II. He farmed and owned the Eaton Fertilizer Company, was the Preble County Dog Warden, served on the Eaton Fire Department, eventually becoming the Assistant Fire Chief.
Services were held at the convenience of the family.
