WHITE, Willard William “Bill”

Age 80, of Camden, passed away in Florida Wednesday January 31, 2018.

Bill was born May 12, 1937 in Richmond, Indiana to the late William B. and Mildred (Leach) White.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Judy; sons, Russell (Rhonda) and David (Michelle); grandchildren, Erica (Fritz) Schroder, Tyler and Dawson White; sister, Elizabeth (Douglas) Taylor; niece and nephew, Jennifer (Tony) Sibley and Brian (Barbel) Taylor; and many more family and friends.

After graduating from Camden High School, Bill enlisted in the U.S. Army.  He went on the become a carpenter and farmer, and was the former owner of a laundromat.  He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Dayton Dragons, loved working with roses and lilies, hunting mushrooms, and a ruthless Pinochle player.  Bill was a member of the West Elkton Friends Meeting, was active with the Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson’s, and enjoyed spending the winter in Florida.  He will be missed by his beloved golden retriever, Bailey.

Visitation will be Friday, February 9 from 6-8PM at BALES’ FUNERAL HOME, Camden.  The funeral service will begin at 11AM on Saturday, February 10 at the funeral home with Pastor Leigh Tolton officiating.  Burial to follow at Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton.
