Vicki L. Matthews

age 64, of Xenia, Ohio, went to be with the Lord, her father Roy, son Casey, and brother Garry on Monday, March 30, 2026. Born August 6, 1961, to her parents Roy and Beverly Matthews, Vicki's life was a testament to the love she had for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Matthews; son, Casey Jo Raby; brother, Garry Matthews; uncle Ben and aunt Carolyn Beekman. Vicki is survived by her loving mother, Beverly Matthews; son, Kris (Monica) Raby; daughter, Kayla (Brent) Kinsey; grandchildren Megan, Cheyenne, Kolton, Lorretta, Evelyn, Waylon, Draven, and Zaden. She also leaves behind brothers Larry (Carrie) Matthews and Terry (Mel) Matthews; sister Veda Matthews; sister-in-law Margaret Matthews; many special nieces and nephews; and her cherished fur baby, Otis.

Vicki loved to bake, and while she was a wonderful cook, baking was her true passion. She created cakes and cookies that no one could pass up, filling her home with warmth and sweetness. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, making candles, and doing crafts. Vicki found peace in the mountains and at the ocean, where she felt closest to nature. She loved horses and turtles, and her gentle spirit touched everyone she met, especially her children and grandchildren.

Vicki's kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will be missed by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she brightened. While our hearts are broken, she will be missed by many who loved her dearly.

A Celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
