Steven J. “Bubba” Imhoff

64, of Camden, passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 14, 2025 with family by his side.

He was born July 22, 1961, in Hamilton, to the late James N. and Sylvia A. (Fike) Imhoff.

Bubba is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Sue Imhoff; son, Steve “Jay” (Caitlyn) Imhoff, Jr.; daughter, Katy (Jeff) Dougherty; grandchildren, Lane, Jimmy, Lorelai, Jayson, and Jamie; brother, Mark (Jeni) Imhoff; sister, Lori Imhoff-Kell; brother-in-law, Scott Vest; many beloved nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles, and many other family members; and his special dog, Skittles.

Bubba lived his life with an easy smile, a big heart, and a deep love for the things that brought him joy, his family, his faithful dog, and his favorite teams. A die-hard fan of the Cincinnati Reds, the Bengals, and the Ohio State Buckeyes, Bubba could often be found cheering them on from his favorite spot in front of the TV, living and breathing every play as if he were right there in the stands.

When the games were over, Bubba found peace on the waters of Neebish, Michigan, where he loved fishing for pike. Those quiet mornings, rod in hand, brought him as much happiness as a last-second touchdown or a walk-off home run. And if it wasn’t sports or fishing, you could bet he was tuned in to The Price Is Right on the Game Show Network, grinning as he guessed the numbers right along with the contestants.

Bubba’s greatest treasures, though, were not his teams or hobbies, but those who loved him most. His faithful dog, Skittles, never left his side, spoiled in every way a dog could be. And his grandchildren knew that a trip to Grandpa’s house meant leaving with pockets full of Reese’s Cups and memories of a man who adored them beyond measure. He lived to spoil them, laugh with them, and make them feel like the most important people in the world.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, October 5 from 2PM to 5PM at Hueston Woods Lodge, Fireside Room.
