SSG Quattro, John R. (Ret.)
Age 76 of Marysville, formerly Camden, went Home to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 19, 2019.
He was born March 9, 1943 in Warren, Kentucky, and was raised by the late George and Nanny Feltner.
John was preceded in death by his father, Pete Quattro.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Judy Quattro; children, Joanna (Steven) Leventen; Judy (Brad) Smith, John (Jessica) Quattro II, Janet (Bruce) Blevins, and Joyce (Garron) Fischmann; grandchildren, Christopher (Danielle) Laycock, Richard (Lacy) Laycock, Bobbi Jo Ross, Billie Jo Ross, Christina (Christopher) Taylor, Karen Hill, Stephanie Leventen, Olivia Quattro, Morgan Quattro, Shelby (Eric) Knott, Sheldon Timler, Misty (Nathan) Preece, and Michael McDermott; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Marylee McKee; special friends, Janelle Alexander, Alan Hinkle, and Richard Fish; and many more family and friends.
John retired from the U.S. Army after 24 ½ years of service. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, all types of outdoor activities, and flying radio-controlled airplanes.
The family will receive friends Monday, November 25, from 11AM to 1PM at BALES’ FUNERAL HOME, Camden. The funeral service will begin at 1PM with Garron Fischmann officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at College Corner Cemetery, College Corner.
