Sandra “Sandi” Beth Taulbee
74, of Eaton, Ohio, peacefully left this earth on September 2, 2026, with her three girls by her side.
Sandi was born in Dayton, Ohio, and raised in Trotwood, Ohio, where she attended school and proudly played in the Trotwood-Madison Band. She was a devoted mother, mamaw, great-mamaw, sister, and friend who treasured her family above all else.
Sandi found joy in the simple things in life. She loved tending to her flower garden, cooking, and, most of all, spending time with the people she loved. She especially enjoyed planning family vacations to the beach, creating memories that her family will carry with them for years to come. Sandi was eagerly looking forward to welcoming another great-grandchild, baby Jackson, in November—a little boy she was so excited to hold.
Sandi will be deeply missed by her children, Rebecca Anderson, Amy (Tony Smith) Fox, Jennifer Taulbee, and Shane Taulbee. She leaves behind the grandchildren she treasured: Myranda (Mark) Moses, Mackenzie (Ben) Marcum, Cherrybomb (Patrick Miller) Fox, Vaun Taulbee, and Samantha (Elijah) Bowen. She also leaves her beloved great-grandchildren, Micah, Zaedyn, Mavery, and Zariah.
Sandi is also survived by her brother, Gary (Laura) Shepard; sister-in-law, Louise Shepard; special cousin, Jo Ann Higgins-Welsh; sister-in-law, Verna Smith; brother-in-law, David (Sherry) Taulbee; brother-in-law, Rodney Personette; and numerous nieces, nephews, dear friends and her special fur baby, Lena.
Sandi was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Everett Taulbee; her parents, Forrest and Helen Shepard; her brothers, Earl Shepard and Carl Shepard; and her in-laws, Archie and Grace Taulbee.
Sandi’s memory will live on in the family she loved, the memories she created, the traditions she cherished, and the love she gave so freely to everyone around her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Preble County Humane Society P.O. Box 72, Eaton, Ohio 45320 in Sandi’s memory.
The visitation will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church in Camden, Ohio. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Greg Jackson officiating.
Following the service, Sandi will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Gratis, Ohio.
