Ronald G. Roell

After an extended illness, Ronald G. Roell, age 73, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 5, 2026.

He was born on January 19, 1952, to the late Paul P. and Dorothy M. (Kramer) Roell.

Ron was a 1970 graduate of Elder High School in Cincinnati and a 1974 graduate of The Ohio State University. He married his high school sweetheart, Marian (Allgeier) Roell in 1973.

Ron was a lifetime dairy farmer, who loved his cows, and could keep up a day-long conversation about them. He was a 47-year member of the St. Mary Catholic Church in Camden, and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Farm Bureau, and various dairy organizations.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his son, Jerome; and brothers, Karl and Bernie Roell.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marian; sons and their wives, Tim and Mandy Roell, Dennis and Abigail Roell, and Joey and Sarah Roell; nine grandchildren, Carter, Cooper, Case, Griffin, Karsyn, Lincoln, Reagan, McKinley and Hayes; one brother; five sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 12 from 9AM to 10:45AM at Our Lady of Visitation Catholic Church, 407 E Main St, Eaton, OH 45320 with the funeral mass starting at 11AM.

Ron will be laid to rest at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Alexandria.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ron’s memory may be made to Woodland County Manor, 4166 Somerville Rd, Somerville, OH 45064 or to Hand-In-Hand Adult Day Center of Richmond, 2727 East Main Street, Richmond, IN 47374.
