Raymond Richardson

Age 76, of Camden, went to be with the Lord, Saturday October 17, 2026.

He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on December 28,1949 to the late Alonzo and Ruth Richardson.

He also proceeded in death by a brother, Roger Richardson; sister-in-law, Bev Richardson; 1 Nephew.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Barbara Richardson; siblings, Don (Nancy) Richardson of Cincinnati, Sheryl (Keith) Coppridge of Mason, and Arnold Richardson of Cincinnati; two adopted daughters; one biological daughter; 12 nieces and nephews; and 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew; 2 stepsons with 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Raymond was a proud member of the Carpenters Union since the early 1970s. A talented carpenter and woodworker, he took great pride in his craftsmanship, especially stair building. He and his beloved wife, Barbara, ran their own master stair-building business for many years, creating a legacy of hard work and dedication.

Raymond enjoyed life and had many interests. He raced hobby stock cars at Tri-County Speedway, was an avid bowler who played on several leagues, and loved music and dancing. In his younger years, he also enjoyed parachuting. One unforgettable adventure landed him right in the middle of a Conway Twitty concert after he was swept off course!

Raymond was an avid fisherman who enjoyed catching both small and large catfish, whether for food or sport. He especially loved sharing his passion for fishing with his grandchildren, teaching them the skills and techniques he had perfected over the years and creating lasting memories with them along the way.

Above all, Raymond was an amazing man who shared 29 years of marriage and countless memories with his loving wife, Barbara. The life they built together was filled with love, hard work, laughter, and treasured experiences. He will be deeply missed by Barbara and all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Please check back for date and time.
