SHIVERDECKER, Patsy Zane
Age 82, of Camden, went to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on Saturday February 4, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Thelma Mikesell; loving husband of 33 years, Jack W. Shiverdecker; son, Gregory Shiverdecker; infant son; and sister, Laura Bell Terrill.
Patsy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Arnold Taulbee; grandchildren, Shannon Myers, Brandi and Clay Grassman, Angela (Darrin Reddick) Taylor, and Daniel Taylor; great grandchildren, Zane, Connor, Jayden, Tyler, Caleb, and Brenna; brother, David LaForest; and nephews, Ken and Dale Terrill.
An avid piano player, Patsy loved teaching the art to everyone. A member of the bell choir at Grace Brethren Church in Eaton, her love of music knew no bounds. Patsy loved to square dance and roller skate.
Patsy gave her family unconditional love, support, and care for her entire life. She leaves behind a legacy of caring for others and loving with no bounds. She was known for her love of animals. Caring for her cats, dogs, and even rabbits. She leaves her family with memories that fill the heart with happiness.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 8 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at BALES’ FUNERAL HOME, (Formerly Nein Funeral Home), Camden. The funeral service will begin at 11a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Greg Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmound Cemetery, West Elkton.
