Camden- CRIPE, Ora Jr “Orie”

85, of Camden, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday October 27, 2016.

He was born November 29, 1930 in Quinter, Kansas to the late Ora Sr. and Lura Mae (Jamison) Cripe.

Orie was preceded in death by his brothers, Harvey and Paul Cripe; and sisters, Leanna Riley, Miriam Sharritt, and Buehla Petrey.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Juanita R. Cripe, whom he married May 3, 1975; children, Jennifer Villelli, Lisa (Kenny) Fultz, Missy McCool, Wendy Cripe (Tony), and William M. Cripe; step-children, Kelly (Debbie) Hann and Paula (Mike) Chalmers; and several grandchildren.

Orie was a pioneer as a devoted husband and father, prospering with a renewed spirit, and maintaining and doing for all.  He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired as a machinist at Parker Hannafin in Eaton, Ohio in 1996.  Over his lifetime, Orie donated over 30 gallons of blood!  He will be sadly missed.

There will be a graveside service for burial of his cremated remains on Friday November 4, at 1PM at Somerville Cemetery with Military Honors.  Bales’ Funeral Home (formally Nein Funeral Home), Camden is assisting the family with the arrangements.
