Myron D. Lunsford
64, of Somerville, passed away peacefully in his home Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
He was born April 26, 1957 in Hamilton to the late Albert Lunsford and Bonnie (Newton) Young.
He is survived by loving wife of 37 years, Sharon (McFarland) Lunsford; children, Beth (Stephen) Leist, Matthew (Amanda) Wells, and Benjamin (Scotty) Wells; grandchildren, Hailey, Emma, and Samuel Leist, Wesley, Reagan, Ryen, Charlie, and Parker Wells, and Oliver and Stephanie Wells.
In addition to his parents, Myron was preceded in death by his grandson, Hunter Leist and granddaughter, Ava Davis.
Myron lived to fish and hunt. Every Christmas for the past 18 years, Myron would dress as Santa Claus for villages, daycares, and churches to delight any child who came to see him. He will be missed by his family and friends.
