Melissa “Missie” White
49, of Camden, unexpectedly passed away, Friday, August 29, 2025.
She is survived by her husband, James White; mother and stepfather, Edith and Doug White; father and stepmother, Mike and Gaye Stephenson; brothers, Jay Stephenson and Zach White; nieces and nephew, Sayge, Rose, Quentin, and Elaine Lou; uncle, Wes Hileman; children, Nikki, Lance, Jessica, Willy, James Jr., Dalton, and Levi; and several grand babies.
One of her favorite traditions was taking her nephew and grand babies to the Preble County Fair, where she delighted in watching them participate in 4-H showing goats. The fairgrounds became a place of laughter, memories, and love that her family will always hold close.
She also enjoyed taking her kids to Hueston Woods and Pay Lakes to go fishing to enjoy the weather and have a relaxing peaceful time.
Missie also had a special connection to the mountains in Tennessee. Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains was her sanctuary, her “special place,” where she found peace and joy in the beauty of nature. Trips there with her loved ones were a reminder of how much she treasured life’s adventures, both big and small.
Above all, Missie’s passion was her family. Whether gathered around the table, traveling together, or simply spending quiet time side by side, she poured her heart into the people she loved. Her presence was a gift- steady, kind, and full of warmth—and her legacy will live on through the generations she cherished.
She touched a lot of lives and will never be forgotten.
"No muff too tuff!"
