Mary “Virginia” Pegg

Age 91, of Eaton, formerly Camden, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018.

She was born January 10, 1927 in Logansport, Indiana to the late Howard and Margaret Wood.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, William S.; brother, John Wood; and sister, Joanne McCloskey.

She is survived by her children, Patricia (John) Emerson, Melinda S. Pegg, Mary Kay Pegg, and John (Michele) Pegg; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Alice Pegg; and many more family and friends.

Virginia was member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and was a 4-H leader for many years.  She enjoyed sewing and reading, and was an avid movie buff.

The family will receive friends Sunday, June 24 from 6-8PM at the BALES’ FUNERAL HOME, Camden (formerly Nein Funeral Home).  A Funeral Mass will begin at 10AM on Monday, June 25 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 7721 N. Main Street, Camden, with Father Gene Vonderhaar presiding.  Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton.
