Loyd L. Box, Sr.

65, of Camden, went to be with his wife, Diane, and son, Travis, on Friday, September 4, 2026.

In addition to his wife and son, Loyd was preceded in death by his mom, Susanna Box.

He is survived by his children, Jessica Cornett, Jennifer Stowe, Amanda Box, Samantha Ruble, Shana Box, and Loyd (Kaylyn) Box, Jr.; grandchildren, Jacob Ruble, Nevaeh Cornett, Hunter Stowe, Autumn Ruble, Hayden Stowe, Hailey Stowe, Ava Box, and Layla Box; siblings, Marilyn, Carolyn (Tom), Earlene, Jim, Kenny, and Bill; dear family friend, Aaron Schmidt; and many more family and friends.

Loyd was a hardworking man who spent many years working as a roofer. He knew the value of an honest day’s work and took pride in providing for those he loved.

When he wasn’t working, Loyd could often be found doing something he enjoyed, especially mowing the lawn. He found satisfaction in keeping things looking nice and took pride in a job well done.

But more than anything, Loyd cherished his family, especially the time he spent with his grandchildren. Those moments together were some of the most meaningful to him, and the memories they made will be treasured for years to come.
