Age 85, of Springboro, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020.

He was born May 15, 1935 in Menifee County, Kentucky to the late Leonard and Ella (Robinson) Sorrell.

Lonnie was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and boating.  He retired from Appleton Paper after 30+ years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty of 59 years; and siblings, Warren Sorrell, Morine Curtis, Henry Sorrell, Bea Noel, and Muriel Sorrell.

Lonnie is survived by his 4 children, Rick (Linda) Sorrell of Franklin, Terry (Michelle) Sorrell of West Virginia, Teresa (Jim) McCollor of Franklin, and Larry (Becky) Sorrell of West Alexandria; 16 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; siblings, Beryl Allen, Darlene (George) Carlier, and Charlene Riley; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
