LeRoy E. Line
76, of Morning Sun, went Home to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 26, 2020.
He was born September 8, 1944 in Middletown, to the late Murry B. and Mary F. (Williams) Line.
In addition to his parents, LeRoy was preceded in death by his son, Lindsay; and brother, David.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Kitty Line, who he married March 15, 1986; son, Lonnie Line; daughter, LaGina (Jeff) Poynter; grandchildren, Larissa (Brent) Garnett, Ciara (Austin) Benson, Brandon (Kiersten) Weaver, and Kennedy Poynter; great grandchildren, Landen, Alexander, and Makenzie; brother, Melvin Line; fur-babies, Bobbi, Duke, and Sarge; and special friends, the Shannon family, and his church family at Hope Ministries.
LeRoy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Served on the USS Constitution in Boston. He had been a farmer, a machinist at Western States Machine Company, and a fuel truck driver for Dunkelbergers.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. James Thomson and his staff and the ICU Staff at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital for the compassionate care they provided to LeRoy.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 31 from 11AM to 1PM at BALES’ FUNERAL HOME, Camden. The funeral service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Debbie Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Camden.
