Keith L. George

81, of Camden, went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2024.  He was at Hospice of Hamilton, and we want to thank them for their care.

Keith was a 1963 graduate of Preble Shawnee school and entered the service after graduation.  He worked at George Brother’s Garage for 47 years, was fireman with Camden Fire Department for 22 years, and a Somers Township trustee for 24 years.  Keith was also on the committee to work the Black Walnut Festival for 22 years.

Keith is survived by his wife of 58 years, Esther George; brothers, Earl George, and Gayle (Vicki) George; and sister-in-law, Patty George.

He was preceded in death by parents, Ancil and Eula George; brothers, John George and Kenny George; sister, Shirley Flory; and sister-in-law, Sandy George.

A visitation will be held Friday, April 12 from 10AM to 12PM at First Southern Baptist Church, 35 N. Liberty Street, Camden 45311.  The funeral service will begin at 12PM with Pastor Greg Jackson officiating.   Interment with military honors will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Camden.
