Jodie A. Zwolinski

ZWOLINSKI, MSGT Ret. Jodie Ann (Sheley)

Age 42, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, formerly Trenton, went to be with the Lord March 21, 2017 after a short illness.

She was born April 26, 1974 in Hamilton to her parents, Pyrl F. and Judy A. (Leeds) Sheley.

Jodie was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her mother; husband, Darren Zwolinski; brother, Tim (Misty) Sheley; sisters, Cindy Gabbard and Janie Bratton; special niece, Rachael Pfeiffer; cousins, Kathy and Cal Barnard; numerous nieces and nephews; and many more family and friends.

Jodie was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, retiring after 21 years of service.  She was flight attendant first on Air Force 2 with Vice President Al Gore and other dignitaries, then on Air Force 1 serving Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama.  Jodie was a very giving person who was active in her church and volunteered for the American Red Cross.  She was a member of the VFW Post 7829 in Monument, Colorado and owner and CEO of Zwolinski Aviation.

A Visitation will be held Thursday March 30 from 10AM to 12PM at BALES FUNERAL HOME, (formerly the Nein Funeral Home) Camden.  The Funeral Service will begin at 12PM with Pastor Gary Agee officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairmound Cemetery, West Elkton.
