Gloria K. Pieratt

Gloria K. Pieratt, 90, of Indianapolis, Indiana, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on July 29, 2026. 

Born on April 14, 1936, Gloria was preceded in death by her parents James and Irma Werk, brother, Jim Werk and beloved husband and soulmate, Leonard D. Pieratt.

Gloria leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her sister, Lynn (John) Dane; her children, James (Vicki) Pieratt, Cheryl (Dan) Palomobizio, Ronald (Kelly) Pieratt, and Deborah (Bob) Hobson; her grandchildren, Colby Pieratt, Daniel Palomobizio, Kelsey Pieratt, Lauren (Evan) Wagner, Morgan (LeQuince) McCall, Whitney (Evan) Daniel, Alex Pieratt, Danielle (Jake) Masengale, Robby Hobson, Christopher (Kaila) Palomobizio, and Connor Pieratt; and her great-grandchildren, Kaidence, Averey, Norah, Evann, Charli, William, Jett, and Francesca. She is also lovingly remembered by many extended family members and dear friends.

A faithful member of Tapestry Church in Indianapolis, Gloria’s unwavering faith in God guided her throughout her life and was a source of strength and comfort to those around her. She found great joy in cheering on the Indianapolis Colts and was a devoted fan of Indiana University basketball. Gloria will be remembered for her quick wit, sense of humor, compassionate heart, and the genuine joy she brought to family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Tuesday, August 4, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Bales Funeral Home in Camden, OH. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Following the service, Gloria will be laid to rest at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, where she will be reunited with her husband and love of her life, Leonard D. Pieratt.
