Georgia D. Elliott
Age 99, formerly of Camden and Eaton, went Home to be with Jesus Sunday December 24, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Raymond; son, William; and her siblings, Margie, Gracie, Daisy, and Wheeler.
Georgia is survived by sons, Roy (Tonia) and James; grandchildren, Roy Lee (Jim), Doug (Pam), Kim (Phil), Denise, and Stacy (Jeremy); 14 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren; and special friend, Martina Daugherty.
She had been a foster parent to over 100 children and adopted 2. Georgia enjoyed crocheting, and owned Elliott’s Thrift Shop in Camden. She attended First Baptist Church in Eaton and had worked at Westover Nursing Home.
There will be a visitation Friday December 29 from 1PM to 2PM at BALES’ FUNERAL HOME, Camden with the funeral service beginning at 2PM. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Camden.
