Eugene “Gene” K. Blough

86, of Oxford, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 28, 2022.

He was born September 25, 1935 in Marietta, Ohio to the late Leslie and Bernice (Keller) Blough.

In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by his former wife, Dollie Blough; stepdaughter, Mary Rader; and step-grandchildren, Brad McComas, Brandy Brandenburg, and Heather Bruner.

He is survived by his son, Robert Blough; significant other, Lena Birch; stepchildren, Barb Lakes, Rose Pombles, and Tom Michael; and step grandchildren, Lisa Moss, Tamra Cupp, Tamela Hill, and Brian McComas.

After getting his degree at The Ohio State University, Gene went on to be a teacher of Industrial Arts and worked at Miami University as a building repair worker.  He enjoyed woodcarving and was very active at Talawanda Baptist Church and Oxford Senior Services.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, July 5 at 3PM at Talawanda Baptist Church, 5327 Stillwell Beckett Road, Oxford, Ohio 45056 with Pastor Tom Serey officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gene’s memory may be made to Oxford Senior Services, 922 Tollgate Dr, Oxford, OH 45056 or to the Talawanda Baptist Church.
