Edward Manis

Ed Manis,

Age 81, of Camden, Ohio, joined his wife in Heaven on October 18, 2023.  He was born in Richmond, Indiana, to the late Edward Manis Sr. & Alice (Matheny) Pullon on July 26, 1942.  Ed is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Hazel Manis; son, Charles LEWIS; son-in-law, Mark Sears; sister, Patricia Bowermeister; nephew, Mickey Gibson: brother-in-law William McIntosh.  He is survived by his daughters, Shelley (Mike) Lamb, Dora Sears; grandchildren, Josh Lewis, Amber Johnson, Ted Renner, Devan (Sarah) Renner, Melynda Lewis, Sasha (Kevin) Behee, Colton (Sidney) Gray, Chayse (Colleen) Gray, Jayden Sears, Kerissa Sears, Xavier Sears, Xealah Sears; several great grandchildren; many other family members and friends that will miss him dearly.   Ed was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a truck driver for many years and took pride in his work.   In his free time, Ed enjoyed nature and spending time outdoors hunting or fishing.  He was a devoted Husband to his late wife, Hazel, and a loving father to his children. As a proud grandfather, he cherished spending time with his grandchildren, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories.  Ed was a friend to many, as his kindness was contagious. He was the type of man that was ready to sit down and share a cup of coffee with you and enjoy one another's company. He will be missed by those who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held at Bales Funeral Home (249 N. Main Street, Camden, Ohio, 45311) on Friday, October 27th from 11:00am to 12:00pm with a service to start at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden.
