Eddie Joe Steiner
78, of Camden, joined his wife, Linda, in Heaven, Thursday, July 17, 2025.
He was born July 7, 1947, in Cincinnati, to the late John L. and Wilhelmina E. (Reuss) Steiner.
In addition to his parents and wife, Eddie was preceded in death by his siblings, Henry, William, Mary Lou, and John.
He is survived by his niece, Kerri McLaughlin; great nephew, Liam Winkler; brothers, Fred Steiner, Patrick Steiner, Ronald Steiner, and Albert Steiner; and many more family and friends.
Eddie served his country with honor from 1966 to 1969 during the Vietnam War. His deep patriotism and bravery marked a defining chapter of his life. Just this past year, Eddie had the opportunity to travel on the Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., where he visited the memorials dedicated to those who served, a meaningful and emotional journey that brought him great pride.
After his military service, Eddie devoted many years to Square D, where he earned a reputation for being dependable, hardworking, and steadfast, so much so that he maintained a record of perfect attendance throughout his career.
Outside of work, Eddie enjoyed spending countless hours talking on his CB radio, connecting with friends and fellow enthusiasts across the airwaves. He also had a passion for collecting marbles, always on the lookout for unique additions to his cherished collection.
Eddie will be remembered most for his gentle spirit and generosity. He was always willing to lend a hand, offer kind words, or simply be there when someone needed support. His warmth, humility, and enduring kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.
His wish was to simply be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Linda, at Hickory Flats Cemetery, Hamilton.
