BAILEY, David L.
age 71, of Columbus, formerly of Camden, Ohio, went to join his family in Heaven on Thursday, September 1, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca Barber; mom, Mary L. Stowe; step-father, Ray F. Stowe; and grandson, Christopher LaCross.
David is survived by his children, Angie (Gary) LaCross, Jeff (Tonja) Bailey, David Scott Bailey; and Summerlee (Justin Nickell) Bailey; brothers, Rick (Deb) Stowe and Artie (Mary) Stowe; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He retired from the U.S. Navy after 22 years of service, was a corrections officer for the State of Ohio; and worked at Columbia Gas. David was a baseball fanatic, who loved the Cincinnati Reds.
The visitation will be Monday, September 5, from 5-7PM at BALES' FUNERAL HOME (formerly Nein Funeral Home), Camden. The funeral service will begin at 2PM on Tuesday September 6 at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will follow at Fairmont Cemetery, Camden.
