David L. Wines

74, of Camden, went Home to be with the Lord, Monday, January 18, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis G. and Juanita (Ramey) Wines; and brother, Richard Wines.

David is survived by his wife, Louise Wines; son, Randy (Christina) Wines; step-children, Bob (Holli) Davis, Vicki Walkup, and Lisa (Mark) Stall; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, Donna Dolan, Judy Puckett, and Paul “Sonny” Wines.

He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War from May 18, 1968 to May 17, 1969.  David loved stock cars, was the Associate Pastor at Higher Heights Church of God, and enjoyed street ministry.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 22 from 6 to 8PM at BALES FUNERAL HOME, Camden.  The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 23 at 11AM at the funeral home with Junior Cummings officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Alexandria.
