Estep, Charles J. “Pops”
Age 81, of Somerville, peacefully went Home to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 16, 2018, surrounded by his family.
He was born October 3, 1936, in Hamilton to the late William and Nettie Estep.
Pops was preceded in death by his parents; son, Clayton; and siblings, Shelby, Fred, Cleida, Lillian, Margie, Mary, and Mildred.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Helen; daughters, Melodie (Dan) Hartman and Jennifer (Rick) Fussnecker; grandchildren, Michelle, Lanette, Daniel, Charlie, and Ricky; great grandchildren, Oaklen, Owen, Lillianne, Victoria, Liam, and Karsen; brother, Wayne (Linda) Estep; daughter-in-law, Carla; and many more family and friends.
Pops, along with his business partner, Gil Rose, was very proud to own Estep and Rose Concrete Construction. In his earlier years he had a passion for hunting and fishing.
The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to Heartland Hospice for the care they provided.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 23 from 10-11AM at First Baptist Church of Trenton, 305 Cypress Avenue, Trenton, 45067. The funeral service will begin at 11AM with Pastor Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park, Hamilton.
Contributions in Pops memory may be made to The Salvation Army, which is an organization that meant a lot to him as a kid growing up, and gave guidance and ministry at a time when it was needed most.
