Age 72, of Camden, passed away peacefully Sunday May 28, 2017 after complications from major heart surgery.
He was born August 4, 1944 in Hamilton to the late Charles H. and Hester V. Osborn.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Larry of West Palm Beach, Daryl, and Randy, both from Camden.
He is survived by his children, Shelley Osborn of Monroe, Jason (Jodi) Osborn of Cincinnati, and Erin Osborn McDaniel of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Stephanie Michael, Allison (Alex) Osborn Roach, Charlie Michael, Sam Michael, Anya Miller-Osborn, Calliope Osborn, Gavin Osborn, Greta Osborn, Harper McDaniel, and Dezi Mays-McDaniel; great grandchildren, Rylee Roach and Raiden Michael; sister, Sandra Ketring of San Diego; brother, Gary of Camden; and girlfriend, Charlotte Begley of Middletown.
Charlie was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he specialized in telecommunications and Morse code. He was an avid outdoorsman, retired from GTE after 30 years of service and Bass Pro Shop after 15 years. He loved his family.
A visitation will be held Wednesday May 31 from 1PM to 3PM at the First Southern Baptist Church, 35 N Liberty St, Camden, 45311. The funeral service will begin at 3PM with Rev. Trevor D. Bridgeford Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmound Cemetery, West Elkton.
