Carol Moore

70, of Camden, went Home to join the love of her life of 53 years, husband, Bo Moore, Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

She was born December 23, 1953, in Hamilton, to the late Roy D. and Clara I. (Hartman) Crank.  Carol and Bo married on September 6, 1969, in Lynchburg, Virginia.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Bo” Moore; and siblings, Jerry Crank, Jennie Crank, Mary Quick, Judy Wooton, Violet Moorman, Hope Strothman, David Crank, and Butch Crank.

She is survived by her children, Maria (Dave) Morgan, Chuck (Missy) Moore, and Ralph (Tamela) Moore; grandchildren, David (Sarah) Morgan II, Alexia Morgan, Austin (Gabi) Moore, Caleb Moore, Aaron Avery, Kyle Moore, and Cody Moore; great grandchildren, Rhett Moore, Olivia Charlotte Morgan, and Archer Avery; and sister, Charlene Bridgeford.

One of Carol's greatest joys was exploring the country with her beloved husband, Bo. Together, they embarked on countless journeys, traversing the nation in search of hidden treasures and unique antiques. Their shared passion for discovery strengthened their bond and created a lifetime of memories.

Being the youngest of 10 children, her dedication to family extended beyond her siblings to her own children and grandchildren, who were the apple of her eye. Carol's love and support were unwavering, and she took great pride in being an important part of their lives.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 20 from 11AM to 1PM at BALES FUNERAL HOME, Camden.  The funeral service will begin at 1PM with nephew and Pastor Jeff Bridgeford officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to Bo.
