Billy Hacker

77, of Camden, Ohio was surrounded by his family when he was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 21, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center. Billy was born on August 24, 1942 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Fred and Clara (Marcum) Hacker.

Billy attended Clay County High School in Manchester, Kentucky before joining the United States Air Force.  After his discharge, he married Marjorie Allen in Manchester on November 20, 1964. Billy spent most of his professional career with General Telephone & Electronics Corporation retiring after over 30 years of service.  Along with his wife, he also owned the Hacker Upholstery Shop. In his youth, Billy enjoyed playing sports, watching old movies and cars.  He also enjoyed collecting knives, shooting, fishing, upholstering, and traveling. The one constant throughout his life was that he loved spending time with his family.

Billy's family was his greatest accomplishment.  He will be greatly missed by Marjorie, his wife of 55 years; his daughter, Rhonda (Todd) Tipton; granddaughters, Sam Tipton (Chase Young) and Dani (Nicholas) Watts; 3 great grandchildren- Natalie, Conner and Cameron Young and a very special little girl Sophia Bennett; a brother, Johnny Hacker; and a large Hacker and Allen family that loved him deeply. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Betty Jean Hacker; a brother, Marvin Hacker; a niece, Crystal (Hacker) Heyob; a nephew, Richard Hacker; and many other loved family members.

A memorial service to celebrate Billy's life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th at 35 N. Liberty St. at the First Southern Baptist Church in Camden, Ohio with Pastor Greg Jackson and Pastor Carl Allen.  Visitation will be from 10-1 with the funeral service beginning at 1.  A graveside service will immediately follow at Butler County Memorial Park in Trenton, Ohio.
