Barbara L. Spurlock

Barbara Lynn Spurlock (née Miller, Formerly Flanagan)

63, passed away on April 9, 2026 in Blue Ash, OH after a long illness.

Born on February 11, 1963 in San Mateo, CA to Betty Wells and Kenneth Miller, Barbara spent most of her life near Middletown, OH. 

While her journey was marked by significant personal challenges and a long, difficult struggle, those who knew her in her best moments will remember the true Barbara: a woman who was remarkably kind, loving, and entirely without judgment of others. In those times, her heart was open to everyone, and she offered a warmth that was uniquely her own. 

She is now at peace and freed from the hardships that followed her here. 

Barbara is survived by her four children, Richard Brandenburg, Betsy (Ray) Asher, Andrea (Matthew) Robertson and Cori (Austin Ullrich) Flanagan; and many grandchildren, Leslie, Richard Jr., Tristan, Aaliyah, Lillianna, Julianna, Eli, Tessa and James. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty; her sister, Brandi; and her brothers Kenneth and Tim.
