Helen R. Pitsinger,

Age 90, of Camden, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 4th, 2023.

She was born in Miamisburg, Ohio, to the late Abraham and Teresa (Weiser) Pressel on August 5th, 1932.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents; her devoted husband and soulmate, Bruce K. Pitsinger; her brothers, Robert & Ben Pressel; and sister, Mary (Pressel) Wolffrum.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Pam (Terry) Snowden; grandsons, Brent (Bobbi Sue) Snowden & Austin (Tori) Snowden; great grandchildren, Beckham & Haven Snowden; numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

In her younger years, Helen attended Our Lady Of Good Hope Catholic School & Church.

Like everything in life, she gave her very best and made countless friends working at the famous Depot Dairy Bar & Restaurant and the Camden IGA. That passion to connect with others and always find purpose in her work led to her retirement from Miami University in 1995.

Helen was a simple woman who found joy in everything she did. She enjoyed tending to her vegetable garden, working in her yard and cooking delicious meals. Above all, her most favorite thing was spending time with her family.

Whether it was the task at hand or the conversation she was having, Helen was always present, so generous with her time and always giving all her attention. You couldn’t help but feel loved and cared for when in Helen’s presence.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023, from 12PM to 2PM at Bales Funeral Home (249 N. Main Street, Camden, Ohio 45311) with a service to start at 2PM officiated by Rev. Jedidiah. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden.
